Kyle's feature film debut MY DEAD FRIEND ZOE (2024) starring SONEQUA MARTIN-GREEN, NATALIE MORALES, ED HARRIS & MORGAN FREEMAN won the Narrative Spotlight Audience Award world at the 2024 SXSW Film Festival.

Kyle Hausmann-Stokes is an award-winning director and writer based in Los Angeles.

Kyle enlisted in the US Army a month before 9/11, served 5 years as a paratrooper and received the Bronze Star in Iraq. He used the G.I. Bill to graduate from USC film, after which he spent a decade directing commercials around the world for brands like Google, IBM, UPS, REI, US Air Force and Rocket Mortgage, etc.

Kyle is the founder/owner of Blue Three Productions, a production company through which he’s written produced and directed dozens of campaigns about the military, veterans and mental health. He is the co-founder Veterans in Media & Entertainment, the largest professional veteran x entertainment industry organization in Hollywood, and his “Veterans For Gun Reform” PSA for #MarchForLives accrued over 40 million views a 4 days. His 2022 semi-autobiographical impact short MERITxZOE gained the support of three of the largest veteran nonprofits in the country: The Mission Continues,Bob Woodruff Foundation and Everytown For Gun Safety.
